How can we help you?

Dyslexia Diagnostic Assessment

A formal diagnosis of dyslexia is often the first step to getting the support that you or your child need. Find out the benefits of an assessment here.

A diagnostic assessment takes about 3 hours and can take place at our office in Northfields, at your home, at a school, or, when appropriate, can be conducted virtually.

It is followed by a 20+ page report fully explaining findings and next steps, as well as a follow-up video chat to answer questions.

Cost: £575 weekdays / £625 weekends

Dyslexia and Dyscalculia Diagnostic Assessment

The full dyslexia/dyscalculia diagnostic assessment looks at all the skills included in the dyslexia assessment with the addition of processing skills involved in mathematics. As a result, if you or your child meet diagnostic criteria, you may be diagnosed with either dyscalculia or a specific learning difficulty in maths. Again, specific suggestions will be made for next steps.

Cost: £775 weekdays / £825 weekends

Dyslexia Screener

If you or your child are experiencing literacy difficulties but you're not ready or able to commit to a full assessment, or your child is too young for a diagnosis, a screener will provide an idea of the likelihood of dyslexia.

The screener will be preceded by a 30-minute virtual consultation and followed up by a brief report on findings and recommendations. If you decide to proceed with a full assessment, you'll receive a £60 credit toward the booking.

Cost: £120

ADHD Screener (Add-on)

Do you suspect that ADHD may be playing a role in the challenges you or your child are experiencing?

The QbCheck / Qb Test is an objective, computer-based screening tool for ADHD. It uses motion tracking and computerised tasks to measure the core ADHD symptoms: inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity, comparing your results to those of individuals who have and do not have an ADHD diagnosis.  Please note: THIS SERVICE WILL NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH AN ADHD DIAGNOSIS but may help you decide whether further investigation into ADHD is warranted with a specialist.

Cost: £150 add-on

Specialist Consultation

Sometimes your path forward isn't yet clear and it's helpful to speak to someone about the barriers you or your child are facing.

Gain clarity through an in-person or virtual meeting to discuss how best to support yourself or your child with literacy challenges in home, school or work. A dyslexia diagnosis is not required for a consultation. This is suitable for all ages.

Cost: £60 per 45 minutes
